At 6:12am on May 8th, 2008, Scott Whitener said…: I know individual preference plays a big role in motorcycles, but my first choice is the GL1800. The style, comfort and power are second to none. I pull a Bushtech trailer as well and with the both of us we still have plenty of get up and go available. The HD is an also an excellent bike and comes with basically all the option at purchase but far less power and plus 5K in additional list cost, for the GL you need to add some components (I suggest from the dealer) such as the CB and alarm system, (possible ABS as well) I would not buy the optional GPS. The HD Ultra Classic comes with the CB and alarm and just as beautiful as the GW. These are options I really enjoy for road and group travel. Hope this helps but I'm a real fan of the Goldwing.

I tested the GW today and was very impressed.Saturday I am going to test the HD. Any advise on either?
