I need some advice from some people that have riding time in Colorado & Utah. What's the best month (weather wise) of the year to tour the state of Colorado and Utah? I'm planning on about 2 weeks for this trip from GA.

Ron, Thanks for the info. I'm looking at around the 8th of July for my start date for Colorado. If it too hot in southern Utah at that time I may just stay north of there.

Tim the safest times are July and August. In June you can still run into some pretty good snow falls at the higher elevations. My preference is late August and early September ( although a few Septembers I have run into blizzards in Northern Wyoming and Utah). The tourists have gone home and you see a lot less motor homes trying to make that 11,000 foot pass. The summer heat has subsided a little coming across from Ga.
