Michigan Vet's home

Today the chapter I ride with donated a lot of stuff to the Michigan Vet's home. This was something the chapter had been planning for a while. It was good to see such a nice turn out.

Went to the Va. Wing rally Saturday, and had a great ride there and back. The only problem was the $13. to get in, times 2 =$26. After buying gas to get there from NC, then pay to get in, and gas to get back, doesnt leave much to spend at the venders,even though there were not that many venders there.I am not trying to cry about this, but for that kind of $, we expected a little more. Daytona Biketoberfest, Oct. 16 - 19

Are any of you going to be at Daytona Biketoberfest? The weather here in Florida is just beginning to turn nice for fall riding... low 80's and very, very few rain days. I think that I like the fall rally in Daytona Beach better than the spring rally - bike week because there is only usually fewer than 200,000 (compared to $500,000) and a lot less chance of rain days.
