All are welcome at church and come as you are. everybody wears everydy clothes and there is lots of leather as most wear their bike clothes to church. Hi. I am doing well and as you say "enjoying life"! I have been blessed with quite a stretch of good health lately and am just really taking advantage of it. Ha. Took my bike trip up to Michigan that I wanted to do, it was wonderful. I went alone but had a great time/ride. 955 miles in three days. It was awesome and I'm so glad I went. I'm ready to go on another one now. ha.
I would love to read some of your poems. I used to write some, mostly just insightful (hopefully :) ) stuff that meant nothing to anyone but myself, but oftentimes that what poems are, aren't they? :)
You send me any of them that you want, I'll try to put a picture with it. You tell me what you've got in mind. We'll see what we can do. I think that's a great project.
If you have them on the computer you could email them to me @ lori@mypalettes.com
Was great to hear from you and I hope that you and yours are all well. Is it getting pretty there? On my trip I stayed the first night (because I left to late in the day) near Hebron IN and went up thru Valparaiso up into Michigan that way. Was still quite a bit of water standing everywhere.
You are far enough south though that maybe the leaves haven't started turning yet either. They are just beginning to think about it here, but we've a cold snap coming too, so some may drop before they turn. Would be too bad. I love fall colors. Quite a few years ago we went to Nashville IN for a week and it was really pretty but not during the real fall season. I'd love to go back on the bike sometime.
Well, thanks again for writing, great to hear from you.

thank you very much. I've really neglected doing any painting lately, I have two paintings started, setting in the easels right in front of me, but can't seem to get to them.
Maybe I'll get to them soon though. I've started airbrushing again, mostly doing a couple long sleeve tee's I want and I'm going to do a couple hooded sweatshirts with some stuff.
I decided a couple weeks ago to name my Rebel 'Muse', cause it seems to take away that block. I hadn't touched the airbrush stuff for over a year, till just this past month. Now I want to all the time. haha.
Safe riding.

That sounds like an awesome trip, up into Canada. My son went up there a few years ago and thought it was really pretty. It would be terrific on a bike.
I wanted to take a trip up into Michigan in a couple weeks, but I babysit my grandson during the work week, so don't think she can get someone else to tak emy place for a few days. I'm still trying. Would be beautiful, as that would be the peak fall colors.
I used to live by Champaign/Danvill area and last month rode over there to visit my mom for the weekend. That was my first trip over 50 miles. Pretty cool. But my legs are almost too long for the Rebel. I plan on getting a Shadow next summer.
Last night my husband and I made a hiway bar and put the buddy pegs on it, so I'm ready to go out and try it today to see how it's going to work. If it does then I'll paint it and it should look fine. We've a machine shop, so it's easy to do that stuff. My next project is a padded sissy bar for myself. I don't carry passengers, but figure I might as well use one. :)
Great to talk to you, have a good safe weekend.

Hi there, glad you dropped me a note. Really great to meet new friends on here!
I just got my bike first part of June, and I am loving it. I try to ride every day!
I notice you live in Indiana!?, I'm going to be going thru there hopefully the middle of the month, I'm going to try to take a trip up to the west coast of Michigan. My first real big trip! I'm so excited. Farthest I've gone so far is a 500 mile roundtrip, just a month after I got it. That was so nice, just the freedom of it.

Thanks again for the note, and I hope you have a safe and happy holiday weekend.

I'm sorry I didn't comment back sooner.... I don't get on here much.
I spend too much time on myspace!
My kids are growing up too fast... I have a soon to be 20 yr. old in college and a 13 yr. old. I also have a stepson that is 19 and thinks he can tackle this big world all on his own. (if you know what I mean)
I haven't got much riding in at all this year... I have just been riding back and forth to work. I'd like to get a nice fall ride in so we can check out all the colors.... its always beautiful!
Well, enjoy your weekend! Take Care and God Bless!
