"I think my forgetting where I snapped the picture is a combination of age....blond hair.....and the fact that my memory bank is full, mostly of useless information not leaving enough room for the really important stuff. (!)"
"Well, I think having the problem of not knowing where you took this photo is a good problem to have, if the reason is you've taken so many trips. I've had some great trips too - but having started touring later in life I still have a ways…"

Hi Sherry, we'd be more than pleased to share with you any info we can. Actually, "The Forest" is practically our back yard, as we live across the lake from it. We're close enough to do a "pre-dinner" ride for 70 miles or so. It's directly north of Montgomery, TX on FM 149. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll answer any of your questions we can. It's one of the best motorcycle roads in Texas (listed as such on several websites).
Thanks so much for the update,Glad you got to make the trip... Hi Sherry and Thank you , lucky you I've been working the last two but finished raking leaves today and took off for a short while, Got a used Fat Boy a couple of weeks ago just to kick out on and had a ball. nice hearing from you. Tom.
For a greenhorn, Sherry, you sure took on alot of bike!! That is a beautiful Gold Wing!! I am formerly from Issaquah, having worked for the Issaquah School District before retiring in 2001. There is some beautitful riding in Idaho! We live in McCall, West Central Mountain area. A great ride is from McCall to Boise via ID-55 along the Payette River. It is only about 100 miles but through some beautiful country. Also, the ride from Cambridge, ID to Baker City, OR via the Brownlee Resevoir and then along the Pouder River. From Baker City another ride through the Sumpter River Valley to US 26 then to Prineville, OR along the John Day River and through the Ochoco National Forest. These would be easily accessable to you from your home in Washington. Check them out and let us know if you are in the McCall area!!
