- Hey Scott, thanks for the pictures. Wisconsin has its own standard for outdoor beauty. I think Waunakee is quite a ways South of Hayward, but I went there last year to ride in Pete Phipps (2nd annual?) "Phipps Poker Run", and even though it rained during the run (about the 3rd or 4th stop), we had about as much fun as you can possibly have.
Hundreds of riders along with a handful of young ladies carried on the run in 2 limousines (their "job" was largely unknown but it wouldn't have been the same without them - and yes, it was kept "clean"), and a great catered outdoor dinner at the end of the day. "Phipps Tavern" (a strip club) is located out of town, so we could make all the noise we wanted without bothering anyone.
The run itself is typical of Northern Wisconsin. We traveled over 125 miles of absolutely great asphalt roads constantly winding through tall trees and small towns - what a day!
As usual I got long-winded, but wanted to say how much I love riding in Wisconsin, and the further North, the better the ride, in my experience.

- Thanks all,, Acually just picked it up a few weeks ago.. Traded my 97 Virago 750 for the V Star.. Got them both at Cycles Plus in Elkhorn.. I,ll get more pics when I,m out cruising..Looking forward to maybe doing some riding with some, or all.

- NIce looking V-Star, Scott! Looks to be near immaculate for a 2000 model, and no one knows better than I how hard it is to keep that black paint looking shiny - grin. I see Robin's already said Hi, so you've met the nicest Yamaha-er already. Welcome aboard!
P.S. I live just an hour's ride ESE of J&Ps, and visit often, just riding and killing time. Maybe I'll see you at this year's anniversary "Open House" on June 27 & 28?
