Rick, . Take a look at MotoComm's Riderlink ST-1 (do a google on the internet). I purchased it for about $170 a year ago and it was a great purchase. I love the system and the communication is as if you're talking with someone face to face. There is…

I love my FJR. The BMW is much money expensive. I liked the ST100, but the ST1300 was not to my liking. I really dont like the mirrors mounted low on either the st1300 or the BMW's. There are many farkles you can do to the FJR. on the 2003-2005 there is what they call a heat issue, which is just a poor venting of the engine heat. a few minor mods take care of it. I will call the FJR my last bike to purchase, maybe a newer FJR maybe a goldwing. but the wing cant hold any sport to an FJR. I mainly use mine for commuting, but take a long 1500-2000 mile ride every year to an FJR rally in Sept. Let me know if you want to be bored with even more details.
