At 6:07am on October 24, 2009, Larry Walther said…: Nate, I should mention that I ride for the Patriot Guard Riders (www.patriotguard.org), and unless snow or ice make it dangerous, I ride the bike to the PGR "missions" to honor servicemen, veterans, and their families. This morning - in about an hour - I will be heading to a funeral in a town 50 miles from home. The temperature is 40 degrees right now and a "high" of 50 degrees is expected for the day.

Just thought I'd let you know that some Mid-westerners (North of the Mason-Dixon Line) do ride all year ~ for a variety of reasons. Ride safe!

A lot of great folks are hereabouts, but in decent weather most of us are on 2-wheels. These forums will get busy soon, as the weather worsens across the country.

My son rides a Suzuki Boulevard M50 and loves it. Great ride, and Cruiser magazine agrees that it is a champion in the middle-weight cruiser class.
