Welcome to the first day of spring(yesterday). My hopes of riding were shattered in Jersey when I woke up and it snowing like crazy.It didn't last long but it put a crimp on my plans.But the day will come. Ride safe everyone and have a good riding season.Don

It snowed in Jersey late Sunday into Monday.But it felt good. I do get on when I can and look around the forum. Keep on riding when possible. Will be lurking in the background.Be safe and enjoy, Don

Drifter
Hello everyone. Name is Don. nickname "Whitey". Been riding for a while.Finishing my 54th year and having more fun than should be allowed. Been to the Americade 24 times,this will be 25. Looking forward to meeting some of you someday. Started in 1956 with a 49 "harley 45" (wish I had it today) had a bunch of Indian bikes, the real ones. - Don, Nice looking Drifter!! I live in the west central mountains of Idaho so we see snow for a long time. McCall sits at 5,000 ft.so even the melt out takes some time. Can't wait to see some bare ground and cleared roads!! I might be able to get out for a trip to Riggins, north along the Salmon River sometime in middle March. It is at 1,800 ft and is considerably warmer that time of year than McCall. You will be riding before I will!!

- I made 06, 07 and 08 Drift In. Doubt this year will be there, not sure....it's in Cherokee NC this year. Didn't know if you were up on that or not. Do you belong to Delphi Drifter Riders forums?? I don't ride a Drifter but am considered part of the "family".
