Robin, that is too funny about the groceries and having to ask your kid to drive the truck!

Mine is Lady Rider. I haven't put mine on yet but will soon. I love to ride also but don't ride as much as I would like to. I got my bike in Jan09 and have 2700 miles, not too bad for a p/t rider.

It's amazing how fast the miles can rack up. My 20,000 is from June of 08. Can't believe it!! But I never kept track in the truck. It's torture on the some weekends when I have to do a art show and can't ride. I have a full size conversion van and trailer I pull all over the country to sell pots. Just watch everyone else. boohoo. I make it up when I get home!!

WOW, too many bells. I really like the pink Lady Rider Bell. I think I may have to get my b/f the one that is NEVER RIDE FASTER. I have to get a new battery for my bike then off and riding again I go. I will be glad when I can sell this one and get a newer one.

I know what you mean Tracie. Too bad we didn't live closer, we could go riding together. Sounds like you and I are in the same boat as far as experience. I think I'm to the point where I'm ready to start riding with other people. Just have to find someone brave enough to go with this newbie!

Kat (my daughter) and I put on 250 miles on Saturday. Rode to Casey Popcorn Fest and to Terre Haute, scooted around the rain all day. Great to have the radar on my phone. Monday, all of us went to Grafton IL and rode the Great River Road and the scenic route on top of Perre Marquette State Park. LOTS of bikes there. Roads are great. It was Kat's first time up on some windy twisty roads and she did fantastic. Mom's are still gonna worry, right?

We rode some Sunday. Took HWY 62 all the way to Yanceyville, NC and then to HWY 150 to HWY 29 into Greensboro, NC. About 170 miles. I like to ride at least a 100 miles every time I ride. last night we rode out to eat dinner on bikes and get movie. Short rides are ok, but I feel like that is just teasing me. I want more!

I went on my first extended ride. Total ride was 5 hours. I'm about 3 months into riding on my own and had a great time just cruising back roads and stopping for lunch and a couple of breaks here and there. It's still extremely hot in Florida but it was nice to ride under the trees. Going to the Sanford Bikefest tomorrow and looking forward to Biketoberfest next weekend. Won't be riding, but will be enjoying the fun!
